Work Experiences

Research Assistant

Since January 2025, I have been serving as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida’s Computational Social Science and AI Lab, working under the guidance of a faculty member and a graduate student. Our primary focus is on studying human interactions with AI and understanding how intelligent systems influence creativity and social dynamics.

As part of this initiative, I contribute to research exploring AI-enhanced creativity in social networks by examining both semantic and network-structural context factors. This involves supporting data analysis efforts, participating in literature reviews, and assisting in the development of AI-driven peer recommendation models designed to optimize collaboration and innovation within networked groups.

Through this work, I have deepened my understanding of how artificial intelligence intersects with human behavior, and contributed to advancing the lab’s mission to build intelligent systems that foster meaningful and creative human connections.

Admissions Data Analyst & Ambassador

Currently, I am an International Student Ambassador working for USF World on-campus. Regularly, I assist students in person offering guidance and support as they navigate their new environment.

Generally, I handle over 50 inquiries daily via email and phone, ensuring that each student gets the information and assistance they need promptly. Whether it's helping them understand the admissions process, answering questions about campus life, or providing resources for their academic journey, I'm dedicated to making their transition to USF as smooth as possible.

Technical Researcher

During my participation in the NASA L'SPACE NPWEE Academy as a Techinal Researcher, I had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse team of 11 undergraduate students over a 12-week program. Our collective goal was to innovate and propose an "Inflatable Habitat" concept for potential use in future space flights, which we aimed to patent with NASA.

My role was primarily focused on conducting extensive research into materials suitable for the habitat's construction. This involved evaluating the structural integrity, durability, and adaptability of various materials to withstand the harsh conditions of space while ensuring safety and functionality for astronauts. By meticulously analyzing material properties and performance metrics, I provided critical insights that informed the design and feasibility of our proposal.

Throughout the program, I actively engaged in brainstorming sessions, prototype development, and simulations to refine our concept. Collaborating closely with team members from diverse academic backgrounds, I leveraged my expertise in materials science to contribute innovative solutions and ensure the viability of our proposal. Our collective efforts culminated in a comprehensive presentation to NASA, showcasing our research findings, design considerations, and the potential impact of our "Inflatable Habitat" concept on future space missions.

Residential Information Analyst

As a Housing Services Clerk at USF Housing Services, I carried out a wide range of administrative chores necessary to keep a safe and effective living environment. I was assigned to handle access cards and master keys, therefore guaranteeing the safety and integrity of our homes. Maintaining correct records and improving operational efficiency depend on precisely managing and updating the student database, hence my duties also encompassed these aspects.

One of a major part of my responsibility was giving our residential students first-rate customer service. I quickly answered their questions and demands, therefore enabling a flawless and pleasant living environment at the University of South Florida. I also carefully handled student mail, answering package questions and guaranteeing timely delivery. A friendly and encouraging residential community was much enhanced by my capacity to carefully and precisely handle these chores.

Research Facilitator and Data Analyst

During my tenure as a Research Facilitator and Data Analyst at the Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market from May 2023 to September 2023, I was responsible for organizing and maintaining databases containing over 1,000 real-time responses for a research study on a new Stock Market tracking app. Using SPSS, I updated the database weekly and collaborated closely with two professors on the final report, ensuring accuracy and thorough analysis of the collected data. Additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in the Bangladesh Women's Labor Conference, where I advocated for the project's objectives and collaborated with 50 women laborers to gather valuable insights and data.

Student Consultant and Project Manager

As a Student Consultant and Project Manager at MindDig from August 2023 to December 2024, I provided expert guidance on various aspects of business operations to enhance the company's overall model and drive its growth. This involved meticulously reviewing and analyzing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to assess the company's performance across different metrics. By interpreting these insights, I was able to pinpoint areas where improvements could be made to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Additionally, I played a pivotal role in managing company databases, ensuring they were up-to-date and accurate. This involved implementing data-driven strategies to optimize processes and make informed decisions. By maintaining comprehensive and organized databases, I facilitated easier access to critical information for the team, enabling them to respond quickly to market demands and opportunities.

Assistant Project Manager

As an Assistant Project Manager at the Ministry of Labor in Bangladesh from April 2023 to August 2023, my role was pivotal in enhancing the functionality of the LIMS project platform. I worked closely with he government and served as the official transcriber for project meetings, capturing critical discussions and contributing valuable insights that streamlined job search and recruitment processes for both employers and employees. I also represented the project at the Bangladesh Women's Labor Conference, where I actively advocated for its goals and initiatives, furthering its impact and objectives within the labor community.

Academic Tutor

I have been actively involved in tutoring and mentoring students across a wide range of grades, from second to tenth grade. My role encompassed not only academic support but also providing guidance and encouragement to help students overcome challenges and excel in their studies. Whether it was assisting with homework assignments, explaining difficult concepts in simpler terms, or conducting practice sessions for exams, I found immense fulfillment in contributing to their academic growth and confidence. Through personalized attention and a supportive approach, I aimed to foster a positive learning environment where students could thrive and achieve their full potential.
