Work Experiences

Research Assistant

I currently serve as a Research Assistant at the University of South Florida’s Interface Research Lab (IRL), where I collaborate with faculty to design energy-efficient architectures using the Residue Number System (RNS). My work focuses on developing RNS-based arithmetic units in SystemVerilog to improve computational performance while reducing power consumption. I also design in-memory computing prototypes that accelerate low-power AI hardware and build Python automation scripts to streamline RNS data conversion and system modeling.

From January 2025 to August 2025, I worked as a Research Assistant at USF’s Computational Social Science and AI Lab. In this position, I collaborated with faculty to investigate how human–AI interactions shape creativity and social behavior. I developed interactive games and front-end interfaces to improve behavioral data collection efficiency by 25%, and contributed to building AI-driven recommendation models that analyzed semantic and network-structural patterns within social networks.

Together, these experiences have allowed me to explore both the hardware and human dimensions of artificial intelligence—combining technical design, system optimization, and behavioral analysis to advance AI research across disciplines.

Residential Assistant

Currently, as a Residential Assistant for the Department of Residential Education at the University of South Florida, I mentor and support a community of over 30 residents. My responsibilities include promoting academic success, resolving conflicts, and fostering an inclusive environment through engaging educational and social programming.

I design and lead initiatives that build connection and belonging among residents while ensuring a safe and supportive living experience. This experience has effectively made a a much stronger comunicator and acquire a varrying amout of leadership skills

Admissions Data Analyst & Ambassador

From May 2024 to August 2025, I worked with International Admissions at the University of South Florida as an Admissions Data Analyst and International Student Ambassador. In this role, I supported both the analytical and student-facing aspects of the admissions process, helping streamline operations while assisting incoming international students.

I provided personalized guidance to more than 500 international applicants through in-person consultations, email, and phone, helping them navigate the admissions process and transition to USF. Using systems such as Dynamics and Banner, I maintained and updated over 100 SQL student databases daily with complete accuracy, ensuring data integrity and smooth communication between departments.

Additionally, I improved emergency case management efficiency by leveraging SharePoint and coordinating across multiple teams—reducing response times by 30% and enhancing overall workflow effectiveness. This experience strengthened my skills in data management, collaboration, and cross-cultural communication, while deepening my appreciation for the intersection of technology and student support.

Technical Researcher

During my participation in the NASA L'SPACE NPWEE Academy as a Techinal Researcher, I had the privilege of collaborating with a diverse team of 11 undergraduate students over a 12-week program. Our collective goal was to innovate and propose an "Inflatable Habitat" concept for potential use in future space flights, which we aimed to patent with NASA.

My role was primarily focused on conducting extensive research into materials suitable for the habitat's construction. This involved evaluating the structural integrity, durability, and adaptability of various materials to withstand the harsh conditions of space while ensuring safety and functionality for astronauts. By meticulously analyzing material properties and performance metrics, I provided critical insights that informed the design and feasibility of our proposal.

Throughout the program, I actively engaged in brainstorming sessions, prototype development, and simulations to refine our concept. Collaborating closely with team members from diverse academic backgrounds, I leveraged my expertise in materials science to contribute innovative solutions and ensure the viability of our proposal. Our collective efforts culminated in a comprehensive presentation to NASA, showcasing our research findings, design considerations, and the potential impact of our "Inflatable Habitat" concept on future space missions.

Research Facilitator and Data Analyst

During my tenure as a Research Facilitator and Data Analyst at the Bangladesh Institute of Capital Market from May 2023 to September 2023, I was responsible for organizing and maintaining databases containing over 1,000 real-time responses for a research study on a new Stock Market tracking app. Using SPSS, I updated the database weekly and collaborated closely with two professors on the final report, ensuring accuracy and thorough analysis of the collected data. Additionally, I had the opportunity to participate in the Bangladesh Women's Labor Conference, where I advocated for the project's objectives and collaborated with 50 women laborers to gather valuable insights and data.

Student Consultant and Project Manager

As a Student Consultant and Project Manager at MindDig from August 2023 to December 2024, I provided expert guidance on various aspects of business operations to enhance the company's overall model and drive its growth. This involved meticulously reviewing and analyzing Key Performance Indicator (KPI) reports to assess the company's performance across different metrics. By interpreting these insights, I was able to pinpoint areas where improvements could be made to streamline operations and increase efficiency.

Additionally, I played a pivotal role in managing company databases, ensuring they were up-to-date and accurate. This involved implementing data-driven strategies to optimize processes and make informed decisions. By maintaining comprehensive and organized databases, I facilitated easier access to critical information for the team, enabling them to respond quickly to market demands and opportunities.

Assistant Project Manager

As an Assistant Project Manager at the Ministry of Labor in Bangladesh from April 2023 to August 2023, my role was pivotal in enhancing the functionality of the LIMS project platform. I worked closely with he government and served as the official transcriber for project meetings, capturing critical discussions and contributing valuable insights that streamlined job search and recruitment processes for both employers and employees. I also represented the project at the Bangladesh Women's Labor Conference, where I actively advocated for its goals and initiatives, furthering its impact and objectives within the labor community.

Academic Tutor

I have been actively involved in tutoring and mentoring students across a wide range of grades, from second to tenth grade. My role encompassed not only academic support but also providing guidance and encouragement to help students overcome challenges and excel in their studies. Whether it was assisting with homework assignments, explaining difficult concepts in simpler terms, or conducting practice sessions for exams, I found immense fulfillment in contributing to their academic growth and confidence. Through personalized attention and a supportive approach, I aimed to foster a positive learning environment where students could thrive and achieve their full potential.
